Why God Doesn’t Always Answer Our Prayers

People tell me that they don’t believe in God because they have prayed to Him but their prayers have gone unanswered.
I experienced God before the age of 4 and then not again for some 30 years. Now He is with me daily and I can well remember countless times when I begged and pleaded for help, but none came. This did not dent my faith.
It is how we pray and what we ask for that determines whether He responds positively or not to our request.
Many people pray to God as a last resort, otherwise they don’t even think of Him and therefore they cannot expect anything although in some cases He will help.

And most of our problems are of our own making and it is up to us to sort them out because life is for learning: God is not there to be used. He Loves us all but how many of us actually love him with all our heart, our mind, our soul? How many of us, on waking and going to sleep, have God as our first and last thought?
We need to be worthy of His Love, which is always there for us, but without humility, few of us are able to feel it.
So open your heart to Him and send Him your love, then you will receive His Love in return.
