I have been working with the Spirit for most of my life. I am in my 20’s now and as a child that always felt different from people I went to school with, I so deeply wanted to feel ‘normal’. I now know that I am anything but ‘normal’ in the common sense of the word, but I am normal to me. I sometimes felt that I had to shut off my gifts of mediumship in order to fit in. However at several periods in my life, the experiences would either come back to me, or I would have new ones which would reawaken my psychic gifts and mediumship.
The earliest spiritual experience I can remember is when I was three years old. I was always afraid of going upstairs in the dark on my own, so I would get my Mum to watch me upstairs. On frequent occasions I would be upstairs and see a little girl walk from my Mum’s bedroom, across the landing and then disappear. I saw this for a few weeks, then she’d stop and look at me, and sometimes say ‘hello’. Somehow I knew that I didn’t have to physically speak to talk to spirit, so I communicated through thought which is how mediums communicate with the Spirit World. Time went on, and I began to see her in the daytime as well.
One day we sat on the stairs and we talked. She told me that her name was Katie and she’d ‘lost’ her Mum, but I could find her Mum for her. I wondered how I could; after all I was only three years old. Anyway, I mentally said, ‘How can I find Katie’s Mum, where is Katie’s mum?’, and with that Katie’s Mum appeared. She stood by me and smiled. No words were exchanged but a huge sense of love was emanating from her, a true motherly feeling. She picked Katie up and rested her on her hip, she smiled at me, touched the top of my head as if to say “Thank You” and then disappeared where I believe she took Katie home to the Spirit World. Katie now visit’s me whenever I feel I have lost touch with my gifts. She calls me her sister.
Katie’s visits always puzzled me as she looks exactly like me. It really is uncanny. However there is a further story to be told about this at a later date.
As a child I always knew there was something after death. I knew that even though my Nan, Annie May, also a medium and brilliant teacher to me, had passed to Spirit when I was 3 years old, I knew she’d always be with me, and she is, still helping me, guiding me and making me laugh. I watched many Remembrance Sunday services thinking about my Grandpop’s who had been involved in WW2. Yet although it saddened my young heart and I shed many a tear for all the sacrifices that had been made, I knew that as much as we were unable to physically touch them or see them, they were always around us.
I never met my Grand Pop’s, as he passed to Spirit when my Mum was 18 years old, long before I had been born. Yet I knew I loved him and wouldn’t have a bad word said against him. He has come through to me through another medium to say ‘hello to his grand daughter’ and that he’s proud of me. He sits with me on the sofa many times, with his arm around me, sometimes playing with my hair. As I’ve grew up he takes a more ‘shadow’ role in my life, allowing his “little grand-daughter” to grow up and experience life, yet he is never far from me. I feel his gentle embrace many times when I feel alone or worried.
I’ve always believed in angels and have now been working with them more for a while. For almost 10 years now I’ve worked with Oracle Cards to communicate with people’s guardian angels, and guiding Archangels to help bring the angelic realm just that little bit closer to us all. I also find that when working with the angels, loved ones from spirit are much easier to communicate with as the link of love is strengthened with angel love. them clairvoyantly yet as clear as you see the screen right now.
I saw an angel one night in November 2004. It was an indigo blue energy, which I now know to be my guardian angel working with Archangel Michael and his protective energy, and she was trying to get a message to me that means I was being told by the angels to trust my intuition and not to be dissuaded by other people’s arguments. It also appeared at the time when my Father had recently passed to spirit so I took it as a comforting sign that all would be well. It didn’t feel like it at the time. I was 16 years old (just) and my Father had died, and only Mum and I were left. As you can imagine she was heartbroken and not her usually “bubbly” self which always gave me the feeling that everything would be OK. At that time, I didn’t think everything would OK, yet 7 years later, I can promise you, it is!
The angel that appeared to me had no bodily features, only an outline. It also had a white aura, symbolising purity and coming from higher good. It glided over my bed and was about 3/4ft in height. It just glided over the bed and disappeared into the wall.
I have also seen Archangel Gabriel in my hallway and work with her regularly and have also received channelled writing, when I was asking for guidance on my career. I wrote a poem to Archangel Gabriel regarding my career as an accountant. Within a few months I enrolled onto an accountancy course and now I have two qualifications behind me in that profession along with letter after my name from completing Business Studies modules at University.
I see angel orbs all the time when meditating, many times when I’m going about my daily routine, a recent addition has been silver twinkled stars like confetti that tells me that Nature Angels otherwise known as Faeries are around me.
I also see auras. I gave a message to a demonstrating medium one evening at a local Spiritualist Church. I told her the colours she had around her, along with a 4ft golden angel. When I told her this, she completely understood as she has always believed in angels.
I am now developing my mediumship even further with psychic art and inspired writing especially receiving channelled writing from Quan Yin, Green Tara, Archangel Gabrielle, and Queen Mab. My work as a writer is also beginning to really take off as I have written features for Chat it’s Fate, Soul & Spirit and even have a huge following on my Blog www.TheWitchInside.blogspot.com where I write about a variety of topics. Book publishing houses have even contacted me through my blog to ask me to read and review books for them. Mediumship had been put on the back-burner for a few years as I concentrated on learning with and about Angels and Faeries. My guides and intuition has now guided me that it’s time to blend them all together and begin my work with Mediumship once more.
Spirit were patient with me as I grew into a Young Lady, allowing me some freedom to be young and enjoy life. Those life experiences have enriched my understanding of the Spirit World, and now I’m ready to work again under their guidance, no matter how hard or difficult it may be at times I know from personal experience that they would never let me down.
